“For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the raven for they neither sow nor reap, they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!” Luke 12:22-24.
Today Phil contacted a church (Calvary Chapel) in Canterbury Connecticut. They had mentioned in the current AIM newsletter “AIM Together.” that they had a free furnished house available for missionaries either on furlough or preparing to go on the mission field. That was us! This was exactly what we needed! Almost immediately they granted us permission to live in this home for up to one year! We could store our things there and even bring the furniture we could not sell! This will also be our home when we come back on furlough!
These gracious people have also welcomed us into their church family. Phil may just get to play on a worship team again! “But seek His Kingdom and these things will be added to you. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
